AAPD and the Disability Mentoring Day (DMD) staff want to thank each DMD State and Local Coordinator, so much, for all of your continued dedication to DMD and we congratulate you all on a successful DMD 2009!!!

To help AAPD coordinate DMD nationally and continue to get national DMD employers involved, please use this Final Report to show us what work you have done on your local DMD program.  It is absolutely essential for you to provide as much information as you can in this DMD 09 Final Report, because we use this information to report back to all the DMD funders.

The DMD Final Report and the new DisabilityMentor.Net will help each of you by keeping your records and contacts in one place, and by highlighting your local program on the  national DMD website.  We cannot stress enough the importance to the success of this program and our national efforts for each and every DMD Coordinator to complete a DMD Final Report.  AAPD collects all of your information, compiles that into the DMD National Final Report and then provides that reporting back to all DMD State and Local Coordinators, all DMD national employer sponsors, and to support  and develop program growth, resources, national materials and trainings, and new DMD programs.

Please complete the following survey by December 11, 2009. According to your feedback from last year, we have again updated the DMD Final Report form to be shorter and easier for you to complete.  Please also give us feedback this year about the new DMD Final Report form and ways we can improve it for you.

Although AAPD has required DMD Final Reports from all DMD Coordiantors each year, we have not always received reports from everyone.  Unfortunately, AAPD cannot run a national DMD program with no information from our State and Local DMD Coordinators and without data from each DMD program.   Unfortunately, from now on, DMD Coordinators who do not submit a DMD Final Report will be removed from the DMD database, resources, and the DMD website.  If you did not participate in DMD this year, please submit a report indicating that you did not do a DMD in 2009 and your interest in continuing to do DMD in the future.
